Now that Nancy, Landlady at Bernie’s (159 Station Street), has properly stopped teaching, she has been better able to organise an exciting lineup of events.
One of these – the first Bernie’s Wine Night – is taking place next Wednesday, 16 September, from 6pm. Bookings are not required, but the bar would appreciate a heads up if you know you’re definitely going!
Nancy said that “a lot of thought and effort went into selecting our wines, with help from The Liquorman” – a wholesale distributor of independent brands, which supplies many of Bernie’s other products – “and our first wine night will showcase the wines we currently offer”.
This is a relaxed way to try our wines, with complimentary cheese and olives and great offers on bottles.
The opening hours for Bernie’s – 159 Station Street, Burton, DE14 1BN – are:
- Closed Monday and Tuesday
- Wednesday: 16:00-23:00
- Thursday: 12:00-23:00
- Friday: 12:00-23:00
- Saturday: 12:00-23:00
- Sunday: 12:00-22:00
