The pickle pot sculpture trail created by local artists will be launching in Branston, Burton-on-Trent on Saturday 28th March.
A creative and vibrant new art trail is set to launch at Clays Lane Park and Sports Pavilion in Branston on Saturday 28th March.
The official opening will take place at 11am, with visitors invited to walk the route across town, comprising 10 giant and unique pickle pot sculptures hand-painted by local artists.
The free trail will be a celebration of Branston’s heritage, while boosting biodiversity through pollinator-friendly planting and community spirit by allowing visitors and families to discover local nature and art.
The project comes as part of Branston Town Council’s Greener Town Campaign, promoting environmental awareness and community engagement, and it has been sponsored by the likes of Trent & Dove, Branston Gold & Country Club, East Staffordshire Council, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Crest Nicholson, and more.
Andrew Riley, Mayor of Branston, said: “The Pickle Pot Trail is a fantastic way to bring together art, nature, and heritage while encouraging people to explore our beautiful town.”
Locals and visitors are invited to attend the launch event and be among the first to walk the trail.
