The group of Albion fans has already almost hit its target!
Keeping an excitable, chanting football crowd in time can be no easy task. So a group of well-supported Burton Albion FC fans is looking to get a new drum – one that will last long and keep match atmospheres lively!
‘Brewers Union’ recently held its first meeting to discuss plans for the next season, and has since launched a GoFundMe page to “Fund the Drum”.
The group, made up of like-minded fans seeking to support The Brewers “in the loudest possible way”, told the Echo that “we currently have a number of new projects to continue to enhance the atmosphere at Pirelli Stadium this coming season, one of which is investing in a new drum.”
A drum plays a key part in the atmosphere and helps take that noise to the next level.
A target of £200 has been set, and has already almost been fulfilled. Brewers Union says this will help them get “a decent drum that will last”.
