“I can go out, watch bands and take photos of them at the same time!”

Paige Morris’ passion for photography started with music.
Working on the video for her song, Average Girl, in October 2022, ahead of its release the June after, Paige was inspired by the videographer and thought: “Maybe I could start doing this myself.”
She jokes that this was not about wanting to save money – rather, that she had discovered a genuine interest.
Then, after getting hold of a small, lightweight videographer camera, and receiving a new lens for Christmas, Paige, who lives in the Winshill area, took on the task of co-filming and directing her and her partner Alex Elson’s June 2025 tune, Crush, and started taking shots at open mics.
Her first live gig shoot was with Burton’s WTFunk 70s disco and soul band, playing in Lichfield. You can now expect to see her at most gigs in and around Burton, camera in hand.
Paige tells the Echo that “being a musician, I love live music”, so this arrangement is a definite win-win!
I can go out, watch bands and take photos of them at the same time.

She is also a keen photographer of pets – not least because of her animal care background – and always enjoys “meeting new animals”!
Paige is looking to freelance fulltime, and alongside photography works in special effect makeup, videography, arts and music – all of this as well as a shift at the Elms.
