Locals at The Feathers pub on Monday night couldn’t believe their luck when Luke Littler walked through the door for an evening of socialising and darts.

On Monday night (9th February), regulars at The Feathers pub in Lichfield were left starstruck when 19-year-old world champion darts player Luke Littler paid a visit and opted to challenge them to a game of darts. There was a buzz of excitement throughout the venue as Luke spent the evening chatting with and playing against locals, including the pub’s darts team.
The family-run pub had won a competition by KP Nuts to host this once-in-a-lifetime evening – and Luke had asked them to keep it under wraps since October. The pub’s landlord, Tracy Kingston was delighted by the opportunity to hold such an event and she admitted that it had been a hard secret to keep. Regulars to the pub have been left in disbelief at their opportunity to meet and play darts with the sensation that is Luke Littler.
It’s certainly not something that happens every day – and Luke expressed his joy at surprising the locals, the warm welcome he received, and getting to know and throw some darts with them. KP Nuts couldn’t have chosen a better winner for the competition, with love of darts being highly evident at The Feathers. The pub was named National Community Pub of the Year 2024 and Entertainment Pub of the Year 2015, and it sure represents the significant role of pubs in British culture and bringing people together.
Luke Littler is truly in a league of his own, being the youngest World Champion in darts history, having claimed his first title at just 17-years-old. In 2025 and 2026, he won the World Championship, making him a back-to-back champion. In 2024, he was named BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year and he has been the recipient of multiple PDC Annual Awards, including Player of the Year. Having accomplished such success, Luke has ignited a surge in the popularity of darts – dubbed “Littlermania” – and he has become one of the UK’s most-searched athletes.
Luke’s visit to The Feathers was indeed an incredible experience – and the pub is no doubt the place to be. Located in the heart of England, the pub sits in close proximity to Lichfield Cathedral, and is perfect for those looking to have a social drink and meal, play some darts, and enjoy some entertainment. Guests can choose from a range of drinks and delicious, homemade food options, while enjoying a variety of brilliant live music and events, including Open Mic Night, as well as Variety Night which features bingo, Get Your Cards Right, Open the Box, and Dragaoke.
