Local businesses, non-profits, artists, and members of the community are invited to share their positive stories to feature in the Burton Echo.

Burton-on-Trent is a bustling town with lots of exciting things to be shouting about – from our talented music scene, to our rich brewing heritage, to generous charity work, and much, much more. We at Burton Echo are keen to get your inspiring messages out there. We’ve been showcasing positive news from Burton and the surrounding areas for almost a year now and this has included a lot of brilliant stories so far!
Whether about the Burton Beer Festival, an artisan market at Barton Marina, the massive Sonic Boom festival that took place in September, the incredible work of Burton’s YMCA team, or a local man’s inspiring scaling of Ben Nevis in protest against parental alienation, it’s been a great year of celebrating local accomplishments and things to love about our town.
Now, it’s your chance to feature.
We’re even offering out £3,200 – 8 full pages – of free advertising to community organisations and artists in issue 3 of our newspaper, which is due out in spring 2026. We distribute 10,000 free copies across Burton in our mission to support local people and organisations who are making a difference in the area. Here’s your opportunity to reach thousands of local readers for free.
