Community organisations coming together to support young people

Four free activities are coming up in July and August.

Now in its fourth year, Youth Club in the Park continues to bring local organisations together to provide free activities and support for young people across Burton during the summer holidays.

Sessions will offer a safe and welcoming space where young people can take part in games, sports, creative activities and spend time with friends. The aim is to provide positive opportunities for young people while helping them build confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging within their community.

Youth Club in the Park is a partnership of Burton Albion Community Trust, Burton Youth for Christ, Riverside Church and Trent & Dove.

All sessions are free to attend and will take place from 3–5pm on the following dates:

~ Friday 24 July: Heath Road, Stapenhill

~ Monday 27 July: Heath Road, Stapenhill

~ Friday 31 July: St Luke’s Park, Horninglow

~ Monday 3 August: Eton Park, Eton

By working together, local organisations hope to create stronger connections with young people and ensure they have access to fun, support and positive experiences throughout the summer holidays.
